In this class, you will get to choose your paper and it can be made into any type of mini album that you wish. I am going to give you ideas for an "All About Me" type album, so that you can record your likes/dislikes, how you grew up, etc., but you can use it for any type album (ex. birthday, summer, vacation, etc.)
Each page has a pull out tab that holds photos or journaling.

All About Me

~I don't know about you, but I never take the time to scrapbook about myself. So, I decided to create a class where you can document interesting or everyday facts about yourself to leave as a legacy for future generations to see who you are at whatever age you are at now. I plan on doing this again in many years... favorite things change, who we are changes... so why not document it a few times. I would have loved to seen something like this done when my mom and grandmother were my age to really understand who they are.

During this class, you will learn how to stamp using acryllic stamps, layer your paper, ink the paper, create pinwheels, etc.

We are creating 3 different styles in this Quick Creations... one is a Shabby layout, one is a Clean lines layout and one is a Classic layout.

I will post a picture of the 3rd layout after July 4th... I need to take pictures of the kids to add to the page 1st. Can you tell it is a patriotic page?

Technique 101

July 17th Classes...

You won't want to miss out on this class... in this technique 101, you will learn how to sand cardstock to see the darker color through... use alcohol ink to do a water effect, staple, stitch on your pages, etc.

Also that night, I will be teaching a Cricut layout class using at least 3 cricuts... we will be drawing on our scrapbook pages with the ink that you can put in the cricut. The final class is one of my Campbell's kit classes... you choose any of my kits and put it together with my help. I always give a deal on a second kit that night. I created more "Say what you need to Say kits."

New Classes

I have many classes coming up in July and August...

I will post pictures of the layouts and/or projects soon.

I am excited to announce another Find Your Style class being held on Sunday, July 19th from 3-6ish. The cost is $25. People who took the first class won't want to miss out on this one since they get to create 8 more layouts.

I also have 2 technique classes... if you are going to the beach or scrapbooking anything from this summer, you will want to take this class... we will be using alcohol ink in this class as well as sewing.

Quick Creations...

We will be creating 3 layouts, one will be an American themed layout... I will add pictures to the layout after this weekend and post it soon. There are 2 other stunning layouts that are different styles!

I am also hosting a kids camp with Buffy during the day on July 16th and 17th from 9-12 noon.

I will be teaching them how to create a paper bag scrapbook as well as a chipboard album. Cost is $25 for the day or $40 for both days. Buffy will be doing some activities with the kids as well.

Inchies

Inchies- are small pieces of artwork that can be used on either your scrapbook layouts or on your cards... they can also be used as a gift tag, place setting, etc.Here are some samples of the inchies that I made. I made random sizes from 2" to 1/2"
I love to use stamps and ink on my inchies.

I will be teaching you how to distress as well as use the "postage stamp" method to create inchies.

Here is a close up of some postage stamps.

The class is held on Saturday, June 13th. Cost is $10- you will walk away with as many inchies as you can create in an hour.

Find Your Style

I am so excited about one of my June classes... Find Your Style.

So far, I have 2 of the layouts complete...

I have done the Graphic layout and the Hip and Trendy layout. I have sketched the other 6 layouts and know what I want to do for them... just need to choose pictures and paper. As soon as I have at least 4 of the 8 layouts complete, I will post them.

During this class, we will be taking a quiz to find out what "style" scrapbooker you are or how you tend to scrap. It will give you some insight into varieties of styles for the novice to advanced scrapbooker.

What to bring...
one of your favorite layouts that you feel exemplifies your style (we will guess what style you are)
paper trimmer adheasive pictures (if you want to leave with 8 finished layouts)- I will tell you what size photos and number of photos per layout needed.

pens

Some of the questions on the quiz we will be taking are...
1. What types of paper or backgrounds do you like?
2. Embellishments?
etc...

In answering these questions, we will find out what style you are...

This is my Technique 101 layout- you will be creating this layout (it can be a spring, Easter, or whatever you choose layout. You don't have to use the egg stamp to bleach stamp the background, there will be other choices.)

~ opposite colors (I used the red in her outfit and the gree of the grass)
~chipboard (I used the chipboard letters)
~alphabet stickers (I used the making memories alphabet stickers that say That face of an...)
~something old from your stash - at least 1 year old (The wing transperancy and the paper are all older things that I have had at least a year... the chipboard is at least 3 years old- I bought those while teaching at Michael's.)

Technique 101- learn how to use the most of your paper, layer, embellish paper clips, create hidden journaling pockets, add rub ons and ribbon and create a fabric flower.

Quick Creations-

Create 3 layouts in an hour and a half. For this month, I combined my quick creations class and my sketch class. The third layout will be made using a sketch and you will be able to choose the paper for the 3rd layout. I plan on posting one more version of the sketch using the newest Jillibean paper that arrived today!

Layout #1- learn how to use the curvy cutter and layer acryllic stamps.

Layout #2- learn how to create a journaling pocket and get a full sheet of Bobunny stickers.

Layout #3- use a sketch that I created to make a similar layout. Please bring 3 horizontal 4 x 6 photos and 2 vertical 4 x6 photos. (Photos are not required; however, it will make it easier in creating the layout!)

The first class will take place on Thursday, March 19th 8-9 pm.

It can be used to list 10 things you love about someone, something, or your favorite top 10. It could also be used as a love album, gift for Valentine's Day, etc. The album is a 6" chipboard heart. They are $10... if I do it as a class it will be $15.

I love this album! I love that it is acryllic and you can see through from one page to the next. I love using both sides of double sided paper at once! You will walk away from class with a complete album - just add pictures and journaling... or bring pictures to class and you are ready to give this away for Valentine's Day! In class you can embellish the album using the Cricut if you wish!

Campbell's Creations is Open!

Grand opening of Campbell's Creations was on Sunday, December 7th at my LSS. I had my first sale and a few more since. I am so excited to share my pre-designed kits with you.
